Getting Started With Cartfunnel
No matter if you’ve already have a plain old website or you’re selling on Shopify, Cartfunnel’s got you covered. You can integrate Cartfunnel into any existing website.
1. Create A User Account
Cartfunnel allows you to manage multiple shopping carts from one account. You’ll also be able to add team members to specific accounts, or be invited into other people’s accounts.
The first step is to create your own user account.
2. Create A Shopping Cart
A shopping cart account represents the shopping cart you’re about to add to your website. You’ll be able to customize the subdomain and domain names of the shopping cart (eg. cart.mystore.com).
3. Add or Sync Products
Next, you’ll need to add some products. If you’re starting from scratch or if you’re only selling a few items, you can use our easy to use interface to add products, images, variants, and other options.
If you’re using Cartfunnel with an existing platform such as Shopify, you can integrate Cartfunnel with your Shopify account. Cartfunnel will keep your product data synchronized. All you need to do is edit your product in Shopify and the changes will automatically be saved in Cartfunnel.
The great thing about using an integration like this is that you can still add products into Cartfunnel that aren’t in Shopify. This is useful if you want to hide certain products or deals that will only show up as an upsell.
4. Add Your Payment Gateway
You need to add a payment gateway provider so you can start receiving payment. Cartfunnel supports Stripe, Braintree, and a number of different gateways.

5. Customize Your Checkout Flow
You can start adding upsells to various parts of your checkout flow or customizing the checkout templates themselves. The checkout templates are written in the industry standard liquid format.
Most online businesses won’t need to customize too much, but the option is there for you if you need it.
