Your products are all the things (physical goods, digital downloads, services, etc) that you’re selling. Only items that are entered into Cartfunnel can be added by the customer to their shopping cart.
There are two (2) ways you can add products to Cartfunnel:
- Manually
- Automatically sync with your Shopify store
Manual vs Automatic Sync With Shopify
Manual products are just that — products that you’ve added manually. If you’re listing your products in your Shopify store and want customers to begin their shopping process from there, you will want to automatically sync those products into Cartfunnel.
When you connect your Shopify store, Cartfunnel will begin automatically keeping your products catalog from Shopify synchronized to Cartfunnel. There are no additional steps needed.
Adding Products
Keyboard shortcut: p n
To add a new product, click on Products and then on Add Product. You will see a form to enter your product information. At the minimum, you will need to give your product a title and a price in order to save the product.
Attributes you can set in a product include:
- Images
- Vendor
- Tags
- Quantity pricing
- Bundle pricing
- Subscription settings
- Special packaging requirements (for FedEx integration)
Variants
Each product can have a number of variants. Using a T-shirt product as an example, variants would represent the sizes you might offer.
Attributes you can set on a particular variant include:
- Price
- Compared at price
- SKU
- Inventory
- Shipping weight
- Default image
Note: When you create a product but don’t define multiple variants, a single default variant is created to represent the single-variant product.
Imported Products
Products that are imported (in other words, automatically synchronized) from Shopify are imported. These products will display a banner at the top of the product edit page to indicate it was imported:

You cannot modify these products within Cartfunnel. However, any changes you make in Shopify will be automatically synchronized over to Cartfunnel.
