As part of our custom checkout solution, we host all the code necessary for the functioning of your custom checkout and maintain the infrastructure to support that.
Due to the complexity of our code and to ensure a smooth deployment process, we only offer this end-to-end solution.
To ensure that we’re able to offer an economical checkout solution to clients, Cartfunnel owns the rights to all the code that we write. This code is licensed to you as part of the ongoing monthly maintenance, licensing, and hosting fee.
This arrangement allows us to offer custom solutions to our clients that begins at a lower price point.
Our custom code is not available for external developers to view or modify. All custom checkout solutions come with a built-in API where your own team of developers can use to interface with your custom checkout.
However, we do build in a template editor where you can make cosmetic changes to your checkout pages right within the built-in dashboard.
